Kelvin Says Hats Off:

“Get Out: Black Is the New Black.” Conclusion: 8/10. More suspense than horror, Get Out is a deathly satirical look at interracial relationships from the perspective of a black man. It’s pretty darn fun, too. Biting and over-the-top, the subtle racism of well-intentioned white liberals is extrapolated into the film’s sinister plot device. The horror elements of the movie are more slasher than jump-scream, which was good by me. It’s a bit too smart to be a horror movie, which in a sense holds it back because thinking about the movie and its commentary engages the viewer more than what’s happening on screen. #RoseBlood #HypnosisWithTheMostus#BurnedToAChris #DontLoseYourHead #BlackedOut
